Will I need to take time off work?
Absolutely not! You can have an appointment in your lunch hour then get right back to your normal routine.

How long will the effects last?
The duration of effect depends on age, how much filler is injected, where it is placed, the quality of the skin as well as general health and lifestyle. On average dermal fillers last for 6 months. However, studies have shown that Juvederm ultra can last up to 12months.

Once injected with filler, is it there permanently?
No, EY only uses temporary fillers such as Juvederm ultra, Softline and Hydrafill. The body will eventually metabolize and absorb the injected hyaluronic acid over time. Therefore, while the effects are immediate, hyaluronic acid injections do not provide the same long-lasting results that may be gained from cosmetic surgery. Although the longevity of results varies by patient, results from hyaluronic acid injections are typically maintained for six to twelve months.

Is there anything I need to know before I have the treatment?
We advise you to avoid using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs a couple of days before your treatment (unless they are taken for chronic medical conditions). Avoiding these medications will reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding at the point of injection. Ask your medical practitioner if you have any concerns.
